Gunning For Tamar - Notts show

Thanks so much to everyone who came down to see Gunning For Tamar, Without Maps, Fresh Eyes for the Dead Guy and Bloody Mammals on Saturday and to all of the bands for playing. I think you'll all agree the bands were incredible and it was SUCH a fun show!

Bloody Mammals impressed everyone with their first ever show, mixing elements of Frodus, Hot Snakes and Fugazi into a stonker of a set that went down so well they ran out of CDs within minutes! Fresh Eyes brought the rock with blazing riffs and shirtless shouting. Without Maps shook the walls as always with their skewed and energetic jagged post hardcore noises -this was the first show we put on with their newest streamline incarnation and it was awesome.
Lastly but by no means leastly (is that a word?!) Gunning for Tamar absolutely bossed the night with their tighter than tight intricate riffery. To top it off they were most excellent dudes. GOOD NIGHT ALL ROUND!

It's ace when bands all watch each others sets, buy each others merch and are generally good eggs.

If you didn't make it along, you missed out! But you can (and should) listen to all of the bands here:
