Yet again, sorry for the lapse in time between our posts! I promise to try harder to update this thing more regularly.
We have two exciting bits of news this week though. Firstly, we recently confirmed our final support for BIRTHMARK. Nottingham newbies Liberation Pact will be tearing up Spanky Van Dykes with music that sounds like a cross over between Jimmy Eat World and Faraquet. Rad! I'm really excited about seeing them so be sure to check them out.
Secondly, DEFAULT THIS IS TURNING 5! I can't really believe it's almost been 5 years since that first show at Bunkers Hill. I wasn't even old enough to be in a bar, hardly anyone showed up but it was such a good night and made me want to be a promoter more than anything. To celebrate turning 5 we're doing an all dayer at Spanky Van Dykes on SUNDAY 27TH MARCH. Keep it in your calenders- it's going to be special.
Already lined up we have &U&I (ex Blakfish), Solomon Grundy, Ocean Bottom Nightmare and Shakey Hands plus some SPECIAL GUESTS we can't announce just yet. Get in touch if you have any ideas for the day default_this@hotmail.co.uk
